No story, just came up with it in a drunken stupor
Those days are very foggy, even still.

John and I were reminiscing about the old days, 80's and 90's yesterday, trading a few pictures along the way.

See, I've fallen victim to a Watkins 80's style Shredder, just had to have it, and one thing led to another, now its on its way to my house.

Please no drooling on the screens!

hmmm, he did send me one of him

Come to think of it, this may be my midlife crisis

I'm sure my wife would rather me get a new guitar than the alternative

It's photoshop at it's finest. These are very down and extremely dirty references of what I did in my former life. I was a graphic designer/photo manipulator for a publishing company.
We once did a cover shoot of a woman in a red checkered blouse. When it went to the client for approval, she had some aversion to red and hated the photo. So we could reshoot it (at about $2500) or I could do something about it. Her blouse was then two tone brown checked. Lots of people can do that but to do it of the quality that can go on the cover of the Ritz-Carlton inroom magazine is a whole new level of detail.
Another story: We did a shoot of a three of kids doing playground stuff. In the past this particular client was "lilly white" and really wanted no part of ethnicity. So we used three white kids. Well, they now decided that then needed to become diverse and wanted to show some cultural diversity. Again, the cost of reshooting it would have been huge so I made one of the little blond boys latino. That wasn't too hard but there were 4 photos and I had to make him look the same in all of them. That got tricky.
Kind of fun stuff.

Yeah, suing a luthier makes a lot of sense. Spend thousands in court costs for a judgement of half of everything I earn. Let's save the trouble and I'll send you a check for $3.
Interestingly, when I grabbed your photo of the bios page, it was titled "Dorky Don.jpg". And you're complaining because I made you look like a superstar rocker?
